I am still very busy working away on the new website but I have had plenty of time to do some crafting, mainly knitting and crochet so here is what I have made...

I have been making some new resin bits and bobs now the weather is warming up so I will spend the next few days sanding these down and making them into jewellery!

Name change!

Hello everyone,

Long time no post but just a quick message to say that over the next week this blog will be having a complete overhaul and a name change. Jewellery Gems has now been rebranded as Buzy Bee Boutique and the changes will soon be reflected over here.

http://www.jewellerydesignsbyaimee.co.uk/ will be closing in the next day or 2 and the new website is http://www.buzybeeboutique.co.uk/

The new website is not complete by any means yet but should be ready for a full relaunch next week!

Looking forward to it :)

Busy Thursday!

This is one of the things I have done today...sparkly trainers adorned with swarovski hotfix crystals mmmm he he I love wearing these in summer so these pair are this years crystal trainers :)

I've also done quite a bit of knitting but nothing is finished yet so nothing exciting to post as of yet!

Today's creation!

Hello everyone,

This is what I made today...

It seems my creativity is coming back bit by bit but I am not pushing it….I am really intricately planning designs rather than churning out loads in my usual frenzies! he he
This is today’s creation and I am a lot in love with this necklace, the beads were not cheap but I think they were worth it as I know I will wear this loads this summer

The design is not mine, it was a project from a bead magazine from the Feb issue and I never ever copy projects from mags but I loved the design and the beads so much I didn’t think I could do anything better or different so I went for it! The only difference I made was I shortened the chain as I didn’t want to wrap it round and I replaced the crystals with some bright pearls instead

Other than that Kudos to the designer Deborah Stuart!

New necklace

This is what I have been up to this afternoon...

It is meant to slightly resemble a butterfly and is made using swarovski crystals and antique gold chain. The design is entirely an Ollie Powell creation I just made it!

I have had a really busy day today! I have been baking cakes and taking photos of jewellery and washing up and allsorts...

So here are the cakes and the best book in the world... chocolate orange muffins with a gooey orange centre and a cappuccino cake with white chocolate frosting...mmm :)

Update time!

Hello everyone,

Thought I better pop along and say hello to you all out there in blog land!

I have been working hard behind the scenes setting up on ebay and dipping my toe in with Folksy too...we shall see how it goes but I know it takes a lot of time to upload everything.

I am also busy with uni and teaching at the moment so I am not making much but I do have a special event next Friday. At work we are having a fund raiser for cancer research so I will be selling my jewellery and donating a % of the profits to the charity. Alongside this I am going to be holding a raffle of wine, handmade jewellery and other such goodies and all the money raised from this will go straight to the charity :) Should be great fun for a great cause!

Well better go and finish this assignment!

New muliti coloured mix up necklace
